Draft revision of the Cultural Relics Protection Law: Unauthorized demolishing of cultural relics or a fine of 1 million yuan

Xinhua News Agency reported on December 28, 2015, the "Revision Draft of the Law of the People’s Republic of China on the Protection of Cultural Relics (Draft for Review)" issued by the Legislative Affairs Office of the State Council clearly stated that unauthorized removal or demolition of immovable cultural relics will face a maximum of 1 million Yuan fine.
